Job Description – Physical Education Teacher (PET) Sainik School Jhansi is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher (PET) to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits among students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting physical education classes, coaching sports teams, organizing athletic events, and ensuring the overall physical development of students. Key Responsibilities 1 Conduct physical education and fitness training sessions for students. 2 Plan and implement sports activities, games, and athletic programs. 3 Train and coach students for inter-school and competitive sporting events. 4 Monitor students' physical fitness, performance, and progress. 5 Organize sports meets, tournaments, and annual sports events. 6 Maintain sports equipment and ensure safety standards during activities. 7 Encourage teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship among students. 8 Develop fitness programs that support students' physical and mental well-being. 9 Maintain attendance, performance records, and activity reports. 10 Collaborate with school staff to support students' overall development. Required Qualifications 1 Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent qualification. 2 Strong knowledge of sports training, fitness programs, and physical education practices. 3 Excellent communication and classroom management skills. 4 Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in sports and fitness activities. 5 Previous teaching or coaching experience is preferred.
